This beautiful and petite cat was found in Livermore trying to survive near a machine shop and industrial area. Thankfully, some Good Samaritans saved her and broughther into safety. Paws In Need was originally contacted about our low- cost Spay/Neuter Program, which we were happy to use on this sweet girl. However, during that exam and surgery, it was determined that she had a mouthful of dental issues, with an abscess and a need for an extraction. We then utilized our Urgent Care Program so that she could have a second surgery once she recovered from her spay to address the dental need. The Good Samaritans contributed to the cost of the procedure and handled her transport and recovery. They are also pleased to report that Gingee is recovering nicely and is much happier, not only indoors, but without an abscess and a decayed tooth. They are searching for her forever home and will be very selective about who adopts her. She is a lucky girl and we were happy to help Gingee live her best life.
