Sweet 3 year old Merlin was suffering from a cartilage abnormality, which to correct needed a very complex surgery called UAP (Ununited Anconeal Process). With a full recovery expected with the proper surgeon, and a "great to excellent" prognosis, Paws in Need was able to assist through our urgent care program by contributing a financial assistance grant towards this costly surgery. We are pleased to report his family was able to raise the rest of the funds needed and surgery was performed. It went very well and Merlin is home recovering nicely. His family is very grateful and we are all very happy for Merlin. Soon he will be running, jumping and playing once again.
